2024 NBA Schedule: TV Info, Start Times & Dates

The NBA has announced the 2024-25 schedule, starting with a Knicks-Celtics game on October 22.

Opening Week Highlights:

Following the Knicks-Celtics game, LeBron James and Anthony Edwards will clash as the Lakers host the Timberwolves. The next night, October 23, features a doubleheader: the 76ers against the Bucks and then Suns vs. Clippers, both airing on ESPN.

Fans are buzzing to see Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey debut together for the Sixers against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard of Milwaukee.

Emirates NBA Cup:

Running from November 12 to December 17, group play games happen only on Tuesdays and Fridays during this period. These "Cup Nights" will be exclusive to group play games.

Key Dates in Regular Season:

The season runs from October 22 through April 13. All-Star Weekend is set for February 14-16 in San Francisco at Chase Center.

Christmas Day features Victor Wembanyama at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks. Luka Doncic’s Mavericks face Anthony Edwards’ Wolves in a Western Conference Finals rematch. Then it’s Sixers vs. Celtics followed by LeBron James meeting Stephen Curry once more as Lakers take on Golden State in San Francisco. Finally, Nikola Jokicโ€™s Nuggets visit Phoenix to battle Booker, Durant, and Beal.

This yearโ€™s All-Star Game marks its final broadcast by TNT after a long run of consecutive years since it started airing nationally there.

The regular season wraps up April 13 with SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament scheduled from April 15-18 before playoffs start April 19 leading up toward June when Finals kick-off June fifth!
