The game was close most of the night, feeling like a playoff match until Wilson took control in the final minutes.
Crunch Time Performance
With just over seven minutes left, NaLyssa Smith made two free throws to bring the Fever within six points. But then Wilson took over, scoring 11 of Las Vegas’ last 14 points and shutting down any chance of an Indiana comeback.
Caitlin Clark struggled during this high-stakes game. Though she managed to score 16 points along with six assists and three rebounds, her shooting was offโonly hitting one out of ten three-point attempts.

Kelsey Mitchell Steps Up
Kelsey Mitchell tried to keep Indiana in the game by scoring a team-high 24 points and making four out of seven three-pointers. This achievement marked her second consecutive season with at least 100 three-pointers.
But even Mitchell’s efforts couldn’t match up to Wilson’s dominance. With at least 27 points and 12 rebounds for the twenty-first time in her career, Wilson continues to set recordsโsix more times than any other player according to Stathead.
What an unforgettable night for A’ja!
