Anthony Edwards recently praised one of his Team USA teammates.
At Fanatics Fest NYC, held at Javits Center in New York City, Edwards was interviewed alongside Kevin Durant. He took the opportunity to highlight Devin Booker as the unsung hero of their Olympic team.
โSteph had great games, [Kevin Durant] had great games, LeBron had great games,โ Edwards said. โBut [Devin Booker] was guarding the best player, turning down shots, cause Book can go for 70, not gonna lie, I was impressed watching him.โ
Ant Man: โSteph had great games, he (KD) had great games, Lebron had great games, but Book was guarding the best player, turning down shots, Book go for seventy, not gonna lie, I was impressed watching him.โ #FanaticsFest

Booker’s Role and Stats:
Last season with the Suns , both Booker and Durant averaged 27.1 points per game. However on the Olympic stage while Durant remained a primary scorer , Booker shifted into a supportive role.
The All-Star guard posted averages of 11.7 points , 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game during the Olympics. His willingness to take on a secondary role earned him significant praise from Team USA head coach Steve Kerr.
Fans might think that this respect explains Edwards’ surprising confession about the Timberwolves-Suns playoff series from a few months back.
What do you think about Edward’s comments on Booker?
