Bam Adebayo Disagrees with Heat’s Support After Team USA Win

After scoring 18 points in Team USA’s win over South Sudan, Bam Adebayo had a quieter game against Puerto Rico. He felt embarrassed when his NBA team celebrated it.

Miami Heat shared a message congratulating Adebayo for his performance, where he finished with three points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals in Team USA’s 104-83 victory over Puerto Rico. However, Adebayo wasn’t thrilled about his “quadruple single.”

Adebayos’ Reaction:

Adebayo tweeted back to the Heat saying they didn’t have to post about his “quadruple single.” It’s clear he wasn’t too happy about this.

Yโ€™all didnโ€™t have to post my quadruple single

In international play, Adebayo has been impressive. But on a team full of stars like Anthony Edwards and Joel Embiid who took almost 38% of the team’s shots combined, it’s hard for everyone to shine equally. Steve Kerr seemed focused on getting players like Embiid and Jayson Tatum involved; Tatum had a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds while Edwards was unstoppable with his shooting.

Fans might think it’s funny how Bam reacted to his team’s post. During such games where others are dominating the ball , there just isn’t much room for everyone else.

If only Bam had blocked a shot; then maybe they’d call it a quintuple-single! Although he’d probably rather just score more next time.

What do you think about Bam’s reaction?
