Bronny James Stars in NBA 2K25 Trailer, Throws Alley-Oop to LeBron

Bronny James, the Los Angeles Lakers‘ 55th overall pick and LeBron James’ eldest son, appeared in the new NBA 2K25 trailer.

Father-Son Duo in NBA History

In July, Bronny signed a four-year deal worth $7.9 million with the Lakers. On the same day, LeBron agreed to a two-year extension for $104 million. This makes them the first father-son duo in NBA history. Bronny, who turns 20 on October 6, was seen making incredible alley-oops with his dad in the NBA 2K25 trailer.

Other stars like Jayson Tatum, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kyrie Irving also appear in the video. Fans are super excited about playing as both LeBron and Bronny togetherโ€”something that might never happen again in NBA history.

We think this is going to be legendary!

Last season at USC, Bronny averaged 4.8 points per game with a shooting percentage of 36.6% from the floor and 26.7% from three-point range. He also had averages of 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists over about 19 minutes per game after recovering from heart surgery last summer.

NBA 2K25 Announcement

LeBron will turn 40 on December 30 and is entering his 22nd season this fall. His new contract is structured as a one-plus-one deal so he can decide his future next summer due to a rule known as the “Over-38 Rule” which limits contract length for older players.

NBA 2K25 was announced on July 10 and will be released on September 6 this year! It’s special because it’s the first time both NBA and WNBA players feature on cover art together; Jayson Tatum shares it with Aโ€™ja Wilson from Las Vegas Aces for the All-Star Edition.

According to their website (https://nba.2k.com/2k25/), this installment will have all console features available on PC too but wonโ€™t support cross-play or anti-cheat except on PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X/S systems.

Developed by Visual Concepts Entertainment, mark your calendars for September!
