Seth Curry is back with the Hornets on a one-year deal.
Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN confirmed the news on Twitter, and the Hornets have made it official through a press release. Curry, who will turn 34 next month, was waived by Charlotte last month before his $4 million salary for next season became guaranteed. Both sides were interested in exploring another contract, and now he’ll add depth to the shooting guard position.
Interestingly, Seth has a better career three-point percentage (43.1%) than his famous brother Stephen (42.6%). Despite this, Seth had a tough year in 2023-24 . He played 44 games for both the Mavericks and Hornets but only averaged 5.1 points per game with shooting splits of .392/.352/.903.
Details of His Return:
Seth was traded from Dallas to Charlotte in February as part of the deal for P.J. Washington. Unfortunately, he could only play eight games for the Hornets due to a sprained ankle that ended his season early.
Fans might think it’s great to see him back, hoping he’ll bounce back strong this season.
The younger Curry’s return brings hope that he can regain his form and help the team improve their performance on the court. What do you think about Seth’s return?
