On Monday night, the Detroit Pistons faced off against the Miami Heat, and for once, Detroit came out on top.
Detroit’s Rising Stars
The city of Detroit seems to be buzzing with success lately. The Lions and Tigers are both playoff contenders, and now it looks like Cade Cunningham and the Pistons want in on the action too. They managed to beat a strong team when they took down Jimmy Butler and the Heat in overtime, winning 125-124. Tim Hardaway Jr. played a key role by hitting three crucial three-pointers during overtime, ending up with 16 points.
Cade Cunningham was outstanding, achieving his sixth triple-double of the season with 20 points, a career-high 18 assists, and 11 rebounds.
