A fan hit Derrick White in the head during the football game between Colorado and Colorado State on Saturday night, according to a video released by TMZ Sports.

Derrick White, who hails from Colorado and played for the Colorado Buffaloes, attended the 93rd Rocky Mountain Showdown to support his former team. During the game, a fight erupted at the New Belgium Porch bar located in the stadium’s north end zone. In a video clip, a Colorado State alum is seen swinging his arm at White’s head, knocking off his hat. Several people had to restrain White from retaliating before he eventually left.

Details of the Altercation:
Witnesses told TMZ that White got into an argument with some Colorado State fans after Deion Sanders’ team scored several field goals in the second quarter. The situation escalated when Colorado took control of the game in the third quarter, leading to one fan hitting White. Despite this altercation, no police report was filed.
We feel bad for Derrick; it must have been frustrating.
White’s Upcoming Season:
Fortunately, Derrick White wasn’t injured during this incident. With training camp for the 2024-2025 NBA season just weeks away, this is good news for him and his team.
