Kristaps Porzingis is set to play his first game of the season against the Clippers on Monday.
Porzingis’ Recovery Journey:
Porzingis missed the start of the 2024-25 season due to a leg injury he got during last year’s NBA Finals. He had surgery in June and was expected to be out for five to six months. Luckily, his recovery went well, and he’s back on track, maybe even a bit early.
Recently, Porzingis practiced with assistant coaches and spent some time with Boston’s G League team in Maine. Everything seems ready for him to return tonight against L.A.
Celtics’ Lineup Changes:
While Porzingis is likely to play, Al Horford might miss the game because he’s sick, and Luke Kornet could sit out due to a tight hamstring. Both are listed as doubtful.
Fans hope that Porzingis stays healthy this time around since he has had many injuries before.
The Celtics are doing great so far this season with a 14-3 record, which is one of the best in the league.
