Chris Paul just made some serious history, folks!
CP3 Climbs the Assist Ladder
So, here’s the scoop: Chris Paul, the maestro of the San Antonio Spurs, just leapfrogged over Jason Kidd to snag the second spot on the all-time assists leaderboard. Pretty wild, right? During a nail-biter against the Pelicans, Paul dished out assist number 12,092 to none other than Victor Wembanyama, sealing the Spurs’ 121-116 win. Kidd, who had a legendary 19-year run with a championship ring and ten All-Star nods, now watches as Paul takes his place in the record books.
Watch That Historic Dime!
Check out this sweet assist that put CP3 in the history books. Seriously, itโs worth a watch.
CP3 to Wemby.

Chris Paul is now 2nd all-time in dimes!

Chasing the Elusive Ring
Now, letโs talk about the elephant in the room. Despite all those accoladesโ12 All-Star selections, an All-Star MVP, 11 All-NBA honors, and a spot on the 75th Anniversary TeamโPaul’s still missing that bling. It’s like he’s the Charles Barkley of our time. I mean, how is it that a guy who’s led the league in assists five times and steals six times hasn’t snagged a title yet? Itโs a head-scratcher!
In my opinion, Paul should be right up there with Harden, Melo, Iverson, and Malone as one of the greatest to never hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy. You’d think his bromance with LeBron wouldโve landed him a ring by now, but nope. The closest he got was with the Suns in 2021, but we all know how that endedโGiannis and the Bucks pulled off the ultimate heist after being down 2-0. Ouch.
Whatโs Next for CP3?
So, what’s the future hold for CP3? As long as he’s rocking the Spurs jersey, a championship might be a pipe dream. But hey, stranger things have happened in the NBA. Speaking of trades, did you catch that wild Curry rumor? Anyway, do you think Paul will ever get that elusive ring, or is he destined to be the best without a title?
