The Los Angeles Clippers and Ivica Zubac have agreed to a three-year, $58.6 million contract extension.
Details of the Contract Extension
Zubac’s agents informed ESPN that this deal ties him to the Clippers for $70 million through the 2027-2028 season. At 27 years old, Zubac is signing the maximum deal available under NBA rules for three seasons. Last season, he averaged career highs with 11.7 points and 1.2 blocks per game in 68 starts.
Zubac’s Impressive Stats
In addition to his scoring and blocking, Zubac also averaged 9.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and played about 26 minutes each game while shooting nearly 65% from the field and over 72% from the free throw line. His player efficiency rating was an impressive 19.3 by seasonโs end.

Zubac excelled defensively too; he held opponents to just under 50% shooting at the rim last seasonโthe best among players who defended over 200 shots according to Second Spectrum.
