Dwyane Wade Attracts Major Network Interest Post-Olympics

Dwyane Wade’s career is taking a new turn after his success at the Paris Olympics.

Richard Deitsch from The Athletic reports that NBC and Amazon are both very interested in Wade for their NBA coverage starting in 2025. This interest follows Wade’s praised performance as a commentator for Olympic basketball this summer.

To prepare, Wade even worked with speech and vocal coaches to ensure he was ready for the role.

Wade’s Transition from Player to Commentator

Since retiring in 2019, Wade has been a studio analyst for TNT. Initially, people thought he lacked charisma on TNT. But this year on NBC, viewers noticed a big improvement. Fans loved his excitement and deep understanding of the game during broadcasts with Noah Eagle.

NBC might have an edge because of their existing relationship with Wade. However, Amazon could make things interesting by competing hard to get him onboard.

Fans might think it’s exciting to see where Wade will end up next.

What do you think about Dwyane Wadeโ€™s potential new role?
