Fanatics Fest NYC: Kevin Durant, Derek Jeter, Tom Brady & More

The first-ever Fanatics Fest NYC will take place at the Javits Center in New York City from Aug. 16 to Aug. 18.

Meet Sports Legends and Attend Exciting Panels

For three days, fans can meet famous athletes and get autographs from legends like Kevin Durant, Derek Jeter, Tom Brady, and the Manning brothers. There will be many panels to attend and lots of merchandise for sale to support your favorite teams.

Other NBA legends such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson, and Julius Erving will also be there. NFL greats Ray Lewis, Barry Sanders, and Jerry Rice are set to appear too.

Michael Rubin shared his excitement with The New York Post: โ€œI walked into Comic Conโ€ฆ and thought this thing is insaneโ€ฆ thereโ€™s a quarter of a million people dressed in costumes.โ€

He added that he wanted to create something similar for sports fans: โ€œI literally called the guy who ran Comic Con New York and said come do a Fanatics Festival for me.โ€ To make it happen, he teamed up with Lance Fensterman from ReedPop.

New York Comic Con is huge! It started in 2006 and now has over 200,000 attendees each year. Now NYC is home to both Comic Con and Fanatics Fest.

Rubinโ€™s goal? โ€œI want to create the best sports gathering in the world.โ€

Big Crowds Expected at Fanatics Fest

Around 50,000 sports fans are expected this weekend. Tickets range from $50 to $8,990; pricier tickets offer special perks like reserved seating, line skips for autographs, exclusive meet-and-greets with athletes, and limited-edition trading cards.

Despite high prices for some tickets, this event promises an unforgettable experience for fans.

Stephen A. Smith will record a podcast live at the event while ESPN broadcasts live too! All major sports commissioners including Adam Silver (NBA) and Roger Goodell (NFL) will join panel discussions.

Toppsโ€”owned by Fanaticsโ€”will showcase limited-edition products including items from rapper Travis Scott’s collection.

On Saturday kids can wear their favorite NBA jerseys for a chance to hang out with Durant or Anthony Edwards at the Emirates NBA Cup experience space!

We think it’s going to be awesome!

Fanatics is spending $10 million on activities like WWE experiences where you can enter like a pro wrestler or enjoy a โ€œkids zoneโ€ where Tom Brady throws footballs

Show hours are Friday-Saturday from 10 am-7 pm ET; Sunday runs shorterโ€”from 10 am-4 pm ET.
