Overtime Thrills
Herro’s dramatic shot tied the game at 114-114 with only five seconds left on Monday night. It was part of an impressive run where he made three triples in under three minutes. The Heat had clawed back from being down by 16 points in just six minutes. But then Tim Hardaway Jr. took over for Detroit, hitting three consecutive threes and flipping an eight-point deficit into a one-point lead.

Record-Breaking Moments
Hardaway’s quick scoring spree put him among only eleven players since 2000 to score nine points in one minute during overtime. Jimmy Butler briefly regained the lead with a layup, but Cade Cunningham answered back with his own go-ahead basket. Unfortunately for Miami, their shots wouldn’t fall in those final moments as Herro missed four attempts in overtime.
Fans sometimes wonder if these close games are testing our patience!
On November 12th, Herro had another standout performance with six threes late in the game against Detroit. He even hit a clutch shot in overtime back then, but Miami lost due to an unfortunate timeout error by Coach Spoelstra that led to a technical foul and decisive free throw.
Jimmy Butler’s Heroics
Despite losing again, Jimmy Butler delivered an outstanding performance with a triple-double: 35 points, ten assists, and nineteen rebounds! Even when he lost his shoe during overtime play, he still managed to grab an offensive rebound and score.
