Love in the Air: Jeremy Lamb and Anjali Ranadive
So, Jeremy Lamb, the former NBA baller who hung up his sneakers in August after a solid 10-year run, is now dating Anjali Ranadive. Yep, you heard that right—she’s the daughter of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive and was once the GM of the Stockton Kings, the Kings’ G League squad. Talk about a power couple!
Insta Love and Wolf Dogs
Earlier this week, the new lovebirds made it Instagram official. According to TMZ Sports, they posted a sweet pic of them smooching while chilling with some wolf dogs. The photos were part of a promo for Anjali’s wolf-dog sanctuary, Jaws and Paws. How cool is that? Check out the post here.
Anjali stepped down as Stockton Kings’ GM in January to chase other dreams. It’s a bit of a mystery when these two started dating, but hey, love works in mysterious ways, right?
From NBA to G League and Back
Jeremy Lamb joined the Sacramento Kings through a trade in February 2022. But he only saw action in 17 games that season before getting waived. He made a comeback with the Stockton Kings in November but had his season cut short by an injury in March. I think it’s a bummer he couldn’t stay healthy—dude had potential.
Drafted 12th overall by the Rockets in 2012, Lamb was part of the James Harden trade to OKC. Remember that blockbuster deal? Wild times.
Hanging Up the Jersey
Lamb decided to call it quits after playing nearly 600 NBA games. Over his career, he averaged 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Not too shabby! His best season was with the Hornets in 2018-19, where he put up career highs of 15.3 points and 5.5 boards per game.
I’ll never forget his career-high 32-point game against the Raptors in 2017. Dude was on fire, shooting 64.7% from the field and nailing both his threes.
In his retirement announcement on Instagram, Lamb said, “Basketball has been good to me throughout my entire life, so this decision didn’t come easy, but I have decided to retire from the game that has given me everything.” You can read his full post
