Jeremy Lamb Retires After 10 NBA Seasons

Jeremy Lamb announced on Instagram that he is retiring from the NBA after a decade-long career.

โ€œBasketball has been good to me throughout my entire life, so this decision didnโ€™t come easy, but I have decided to retire from the game that has given me everything,โ€ Lamb shared in his post.

NBA Career Overview:

Lamb played 573 games with Oklahoma City, Charlotte, Indiana, and Sacramento. He was part of UConnโ€™s 2011 NCAA championship team. Over his career, he averaged 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting nearly 44% from the field.

Draft and Trades:

In the 2012 NBA draft, Lamb was picked 12th overall by Houston but soon traded to Oklahoma City as part of the James Harden deal.

Charlotte Hornets Highlights:

Lamb had his best years with Charlotte (2015-19), setting personal records for points and rebounds. During the 2018-19 season, he averaged a career-high of 15.3 points per game.
