LeBron James is still doing LeBron things, and it’s wild to watch.
LeBron’s Legendary Streak Lives On
Picture this: January 5, 2007. That’s when LeBron James started his insane run of scoring at least ten points in every regular-season game. Fast forward 17 years and nine months, and the guy’s still going strong. Monday night, though, it looked like the streak was about to hit a brick wall. The Lakers were in Arizona, facing off against the Suns. With just four minutes left, LeBron was sitting at seven points on a rough 2/13 shooting. But, come on, you didnโt really think he’d let that streak die quietly, did you? Nah, King James hit a clutch three-pointer and then snagged another point from the charity stripe to keep the magic alive.
JJ Redick’s Tough Start
So, the Lakers took an L against the Suns, 109-105, marking the first loss for JJ Redick as head coach. Ouch. In my opinion, Redick’s got some work to do if he wants to steer this ship right. The Lakers stumbled with a measly 14-point second quarter, setting themselves up for a tough climb back into the game. Redick himself admitted, “If thereโs one thing to nitpick, itโs probably me.” I mean, who else can you blame when your offense looks like it’s stuck in quicksand?
Suns Shine Bright
Meanwhile, the Suns were on fire, thanks to the dynamic duo of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant. They combined for a whopping 63 points, bringing their season record to 3-1. It’s like they were out for revenge after losing to the Lakers in the opening week. And speaking of revenge, did you catch that wild Curry rumor? Anyway, Booker and Durant were just unstoppable, making it look easy out there.

So, here’s the big question: Can the Lakers bounce back and find their groove, or are we looking at a long season of growing pains under Redick’s new leadership? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sureโLeBron isn’t done making history just yet.
