LeBron James Olympic History in Team USA Semifinal Win

The U.S. men’s basketball team won a close game against Serbia, 95-91.

They came back from being 17 points behind and now will play France for the gold medal. LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Joel Embiid led the team to victory with James having an outstanding performance.

James scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and made 10 assists, achieving his second triple-double in Olympic history. His first was during the 2012 games against Australia.

Historic Performance:

LeBron is now the only player with multiple triple-doubles in Olympic men’s basketball history.

Curry scored a game-high of 36 points while Embiid added 19 more. Kevin Durant also helped by scoring nine points off the bench. Despite their win, some fans might think there are still issues with their defense and coaching decisions.

Fans might feel mixed about this news.

Coach Steve Kerr faced criticism for not including Jayson Tatum in his rotations. Even so, Team USA is just one win away from their fifth straight gold medal and eighth in nine Olympics.

What do you think about Team USA’s chances?
