LeBron James is done with the term “load management.”

LeBron’s Ambitious Plan:

After the Lakers’ 123-116 victory over the Suns, LeBron shared his big goal: playing all 82 games this season unless he’s injured. Reporters asked if he’d play against the Kings on Saturday, and he confirmed he would.

Challenges Ahead:

This is a bold target for LeBron, who turns 40 soon. In three of the last four seasons, he’s missed over 25 games. Last year was better; he played in 71 games. But injuries remain a risk due to his age. We think it’s cool that he’s aiming high.

Strategy Shift:

To save energy, LeBron might focus less on scoring and more on supporting roles. So far, he’s averaging 18.5 points per game while Anthony Davis scores 35.5 points per game. His decision comes as other NBA stars face criticism for taking breaks during the season.
