Lou Williams Hints at Conspiracy Against Tatum & Brown

Jaylen Brown’s Finals MVP win didn’t secure him a spot on Team USA.

Even though Kawhi Leonard pulled out of the Paris Games, Brown wasn’t chosen. Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum was barely used by coach Steve Kerr during the Olympics. This situation got some NBA legends talking.

On the “Underground Lounge” podcast, Lou Williams and Jamal Crawford discussed if there’s a conspiracy against Tatum and Brown. Williams said, “Is there a conspiracy going on against Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown? I really want to know.” He also mentioned how it seems like the league is trying to make them compete against each other .

Crawford didn’t fully agree with the conspiracy idea but criticized Kerr for not playing Tatum enough in Paris. He said, “I’m not rolling with that… What are we talking about? You don’t do that.”

Team USA Controversy:

Whether it’s a conspiracy or not, Tatum and Brown have reasons to be upset with USAB. Fans might think this will only fuel their fire for next season. The Celtics could benefit from having two motivated superstars ready to prove themselves.

Tatum has already mentioned using his Olympic experience as motivation for the 2024-2025 season. The Celtics aim to repeat as NBA champions, something no team has done since the 2018 Warriors and 2013 Heat.
