Mark Cuban recently shared that he helped Robert F. Kennedy Jr. get on the ballot in North Carolina.
Cuban revealed his involvement by donating to the Center for Competitive Democracy, which aims to increase electoral competition in the U.S.
Support for Voter Choice
On X, Cuban stated, “You know who helped pay for the lawsuit that got RFK Jr. and Cornel West on the NC Ballot? Me. I help fund Voter Choice.”
He added that he’s not a fan of the two-party system and believes Voter Choice is effective at getting candidates on ballots. He also mentioned that they provided assistance at no cost to Kennedy’s organization in North Carolina.

Center for Competitive Democracy Confirms Donation
The Center for Competitive Democracy confirmed Cuban’s donation, stating they represented Kennedy Jr.’s We The People Party in court proceedings successfully.
This led to their placement on the North Carolina ballot, causing confusion among some users on X.
Republicans are questioning why Kennedy Jr. didn’t receive Democratic support and had to run as a third-party candidate.
Kennedy Jr.’s Presidential Race Withdrawal
Kennedy Jr. dropped out of the presidential race on August 23rd and endorsed Donald Trump shortly after. A week later, he filed a lawsuit when the North Carolina State Board of Elections refused to remove him from ballots.
Cuban responded to this situation by saying Kennedy should have “dropped out sooner” if he wanted off the ballots since he stepped down a week after winning his lawsuit.
No one spent millions to take him off or keep him off. Lol. Or to put him on the ballot.

Cuban’s Long-Term Commitment
In another post, Cuban clarified that he doesn’t donate money to PACs or political parties but supports organizations helping candidates compete with major parties: “Iโve been doing it for YEARS.”
According to The Associated Press, Trump mentioned he’d consider giving Kennedy Jr. a role in his administration if elected against Kamala Harris this November.
