The NBA’s Christmas Day tradition is about to deliver another spectacular slate of games, with five matchups featuring some of basketball’s biggest stars.
One of the most exciting games will pit young superstar Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavs had a rough start this season but have found their groove lately, even with Doncic missing some time due to injuries. When he’s been on the court, Doncic has been incredible – putting up nearly 29 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists per game.
Speaking of incredible performances, Christmas Day has seen some amazing scoring displays over the years. The NBA has played games every December 25th since 1947, and quite a few players have gone off for 40+ points in those holiday matchups.
