The Warriors are on the hunt for another star player before the February 6 trade deadline, but one big name is already off their list: Zion Williamson.
NBA insider Marc J. Spears dropped this news on KNBR 680’s Murph & Markus show this week. The Warriors aren’t interested in the Pelicans’ young star, and Spears thinks that’s probably smart.
“With Zion, you just don’t know what you’re going to get and when he’s going to be healthy,” Spears explained. “Plus his salary cap hit is pretty huge.”
