Record-Breaking Moments
According to the Association’s X account, her shot is now recorded as the second-longest go-ahead field goal in the final moments of a WNBA Finals game. The longest was by Teresa Weatherspoon in 1999, who made an unbelievable shot from beyond midcourt, also for New York against Houston.
Interestingly enough, all five longest shots in finals history involve either the Liberty or Lynx teams.
