Serbia’s men’s basketball team captain Bogdan Bogdanovic said Team USA got help from the referees during their Olympic semifinal game in Paris.
The US came back from 17 points down to beat Serbia 95-91 and move on to the men’s basketball final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
After the game, Bogdanovic mentioned that the referees favored Team USA, giving them an unfair advantage.
> โWe tried to talk to referees,โ said Bogdanovic. โThey didnโt try to talk to us, but itโs ok. The USA doesnโt need that type of help against us. We didnโt have that type of help when they were grabbing us with two hands and all that. We played the best we could.โ
Game Highlights:
Bogdanovic scored 20 points on 8-of-18 shooting, but Team USA had too much power for Serbia. Steph Curry shined with 36 points and nine three-pointers. His last three-pointer with just over two minutes left gave Team USA an 87-86 lead they never lost.

Some fans think Bogdanovic might have actually sparked Team USA’s comeback by his actions late in the first half.
