Shaquille O’Neal Calls Out Rudy Gobert as NBA’s Worst

Alright, hoop heads, buckle up because Shaq just dropped some serious heat on Rudy Gobert and Ben Simmons.

Shaq’s Savage Take on Rudy Gobert

So, Shaq was on Complex’s GOAT Talk and when asked who the worst NBA player of all time is, he didn’t even blink before calling out Rudy Gobert. Yep, you heard that right. Shaq said, “Rudy Gobert,” and then took another jab by adding, “Ben Simmons is another bum.” Ouch.

This isn’t the first time Shaq’s gone after Gobert. It’s pretty clear he’s not a fan, both of Rudy’s game and his attitude. Check out this clip if you missed it:

Show Me the Money, Show Me the Effort

Shaq didn’t stop there. He went on to explain why he’s so salty about these guys. “If you sign a contract for $250 million, show me that you’re worth $250 million. There’s a reason why I walk funny, why I can’t turn my neck – it’s because I played hard for my $120 million. Guys like him screw over the system, make all this money, and then can’t play. So, I don’t respect players like that.”

I think Shaq’s got a point here. It’s frustrating to see players getting massive contracts and not delivering on the court. What do you think?

Shaq’s Mount Rushmore of NBA Jerks

Switching gears, Shaq also named his Mount Rushmore of NBA a*holes on his own The Big Podcast* with JJ Redick. His list? Gary Payton, Kevin Garnett, Alonzo Mourning, and Antoine Walker.

“Gary Payton was an a**hole,” Shaq said, recalling how Payton would trash-talk about everyone’s mommas, wives, and kids. Classic Payton, right?

Then he mentioned KG: “Kevin Garnett was an a**hole. Seen him do the same thing.” And let’s be real, KG’s trash talk is legendary.

Alonzo Mourning made the list too. “Alonzo Mourning was an a**hole because he always tried to be mean,” Shaq said. And finally, Antoine Walker: “He talked a lot.”

Shaq’s Legacy and Perspective

Shaq’s perspective is unique, given his dominance on the court. He spent 20 years in the league, battling some of the greatest, from LeBron to MJ. So when he talks, you listen. He’s seen it all, and he’s not afraid to call it like he sees it.

So, what do you think? Is Shaq being too harsh, or does he have a point about today’s NBA stars? Let’s hear your thoughts!
