Steph Curry’s got a new partner in crime, and he’s not shy about singing his praises.
Meet Schroder: The New Warrior with a Bite
So, the Warriors made a splash by snagging Dennis Schroder from the Nets, sending DeโAnthony Melton, Reece Beekman, and a trio of second-round picks packing. Schroder’s been lighting it up with 18.4 points and 6.6 assists per game. Not too shabby, right? Fresh off his Olympic heroics, Schroder’s now ready to bring his A-game to the Bay Area. After a tough loss to the Mavs, Curry couldn’t help but gush about his new teammate: “It can help me. It can help us. What helps me, helps us. Iโm sure heโll build chemistry with everyone else as well.” Sounds like Steph’s already planning some epic pick-and-rolls with Schroder.
And let’s not forget, Schroder’s got that killer instinct. As Curry put it, “Heโs got that dawg in himโฆ Iโve never not seen him in the moment like trying to rip your head off type vibes.” Now that’s the kind of energy you want on your squad!
Steph Curry offers his opinion on Dennis Schroder:
"I just love his competitive nature. He's got that dawg in him… I've never not seen him in the moment like trying to rip your head off type vibes. So I like that."

Kuminga Stays: Why the Warriors Played It Smart
Here’s the scoop: the Warriors were eyeing both Schroder and his former Nets buddy Cam Johnson. But when the Nets asked for Jonathan Kuminga in return, Golden State hit the brakes. I mean, who wouldn’t? Kuminga’s been ballin’ this season, averaging 15.4 points, and keeping him was a no-brainer. In my opinion, holding onto Kuminga while still landing Schroder is a win-win for the Dubs. Plus, they didn’t have to break the bank for it.
Now, with a 14-11 start, the Warriors are sitting at +900 to win the Western Conference according to the top sportsbooks. Not too shabby, but can they really make a deep playoff run?
So, what do you think? Is Schroder the missing piece for the Warriors, or do they need more firepower to take down the West’s elite?
