The Warriors have started strong this season, winning 10 out of their first 12 games.
History Repeats Itself
When the Warriors start a season with at least ten wins in twelve games, they often end up in the NBA Finals. This trend has fans hopeful for another championship run.

Curry’s Perspective on Early Success
After beating Memphis 123-118, Stephen Curry was asked about how much early success means for the team. He said to ESPN, “We haven’t done anything yet.” Curry emphasized staying grounded and focusing on building a new identity while enjoying early wins.
Team Roster and New Additions
Despite losing Klay Thompson in free agency, most of last year’s team remains intact. Key players like Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins are still there. The team added Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson, Lindy Waters III, and De’Anthony Melton during the offseason. These newcomers have already made important contributions.
Sometimes we think it’s amazing how new players fit right in!
Strength in Numbers
The Warriors are using a deep rotation strategy similar to their successful 2014-15 season. They rely on 11-12 players each game to keep everyone fresh and effective. No player averages more than 30 minutes per game so far; even stars like Curry and Green play less than that.
Curry explained, “We have 12 guys usually in our rotation that can play… we’re trying to build baby steps.”
Seven players get at least 20 minutes per game while four others average over 15 minutes each night. Gary Payton II plays about 11.8 minutes as the twelfth man.
Upcoming Challenges
With a three-game winning streak under their belt, the Warriors will face off against the Clippers next before heading back home to take on the Hawks.
