Bradley Beal seems happy with the Phoenix Suns‘ plans this offseason.
Arizona sportswriter John Gambadoro mentioned on Saturday that the Suns are eyeing veteran point guards Aaron Holiday and Monte Morris. Both are free agents this summer.
Beal played with Holiday during the 2021-22 season and teamed up with Morris in the 2022-23 season when they were all on the Washington Wizards.
Phoenix wants to fix last season’s backcourt issues by adding a true point guard instead of relying solely on Beal and Devin Booker. Holiday and Morris, known for their ball-handling skills and defense, could be great fits.
Basketball Strategy:
The Suns can only offer these players the veteran’s minimum due to their luxury-tax situation. However, with an expected gap in their backcourt, focusing here makes sense.
Fans might think this is a smart move to strengthen their team.
What do you think about these potential changes for the Suns?
