Victor Wembanyama Hits 200 Three-Pointers Faster Than Curry & Harden

Victor Wembanyama just keeps making NBA history. The Spurs rookie did it again Saturday night, becoming the youngest player ever to post 30 points and 10 blocks in a single game.

He’s in elite company. Only five other players have ever hit those marks – legends like Hakeem Olajuwon, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and David Robinson.

But Wemby wasn’t done there. The 7-foot-4 phenom knocked down four three-pointers in the same game, something no player has ever done while also blocking 10 shots.

Think about that for a second – he blocked a shot every three minutes he was on the court.

The 20-year-old finished with 30 points, 10 blocks, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in just 30 minutes as the Spurs crushed Portland 114-94.

His shot-blocking is already legendary. Wembanyama has more blocks than 91% of all players in NBA history – and he’s not even finished his rookie season.

What’s really crazy? He’s not just protecting the rim. The French sensation is hitting threes faster than some of the greatest shooters ever, reaching 200 career three-pointers quicker than James Harden, Ray Allen, and even Steph Curry.

He’s making about 35% of his threes this season, which is pretty solid for a center. But it’s his complete game that’s changing what we thought was possible for a big man.

The Spurs are finally seeing results too. They’ve won four of their last five games and are sitting in 9th place in the Western Conference with a 15-13 record.

If they keep this up, San Antonio could make the play-in tournament after years of missing the playoffs. That would be huge for Wembanyama’s chances at making an All-NBA team and possibly winning Defensive Player of the Year.

Not bad for a rookie who’s just getting started.
