The Golden State Warriors missed out on trading for Paul George, but they’re still in the mix for other big trades.
One of their main targets is Lauri Markkanen from the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are unsure about trading him, despite many offers.
Phones at the Jazz office haven’t stopped ringing . Tony Jones from The Athletic says 20 teams have shown interest in Markkanen. On Sactown Sports 1140, he mentioned three teams with real offers: Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, and San Antonio Spurs.
Teams Interested in Markkanen:
“Sacramento has a tangible offer on the table, the Golden State Warriors have a tangible offer on the table, the San Antonio Spurs — they’ve expressed a lot of interest,” said Jones.
According to @Tjonesonthenba, the Kings are “very interested” in Lauri Markkanen.
“Sacramento has what the Kings think is a strong offer on the board.”

Jones also noted that Sacramento believes they have a strong offer for Markkanen. The Kings have been part of many trade talks this offseason and seem to be competing with the Warriors for top players.
Fans might think this is an exciting time for potential trades!
Even if Utah decides to keep Markkanen, it looks like trade offers will keep coming their way. What do you think will happen next?
