The Golden State Warriors began their season with a strong performance, winning four out of five games on the road.
Warriors Shine Against Thunder:
On Sunday, they wrapped up their trip by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder. Stephen Curry was on fire, scoring 36 points and adding seven assists. The game started as a blowout with the Warriors leading by 30 points in the third quarter. However, things got tense when the Thunder closed the gap to just six points near the end.

Road Trip Success:
This victory capped off a successful road trip where they also defeated top NBA title contenders like the Boston Celtics and faced challenges against teams like Cleveland Cavaliers. Despite losing to Cleveland, starting 6-1 away from home was beyond what anyone expected from them this season.
Conference Standings and Challenges:
Now tied with Phoenix Suns and Thunder for first place in their conference with an 8-2 record, they’ve played fewer home games than any other team except New York Knicks. Their point differential is impressive tooโoutscoring opponents by nearly 12 points per game!
Fans are thrilled to see how well they’re doing despite some tough situations.
They did catch some breaks though; missing key players like Jaylen Brown from Celtics or seeing Chet Holmgren leave early after colliding with Andrew Wiggins helped them along.

Team Depth and Future Games:
Even without Curry for three games or Wiggins for two so far this season due to injuries (ouch!), coach Steve Kerr has managed rotations brilliantly using depth within his squad where thirteen players averaged double-digit minutes played per game!
Next week brings more challenges when Dallas Mavericks visit followed by Memphis Grizzlies; both formidable opponents but heyโthe Warriors have shown they can compete against anyone anywhere!
